Senior Compositor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior VFX Compositor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of visual effects compositing techniques and a proven track record of creating stunning, seamless visual effects shots. As a Senior VFX Compositor, you will play a key role in shaping the final look of our projects, collaborating closely with our talented artists and production team.

Responsibilities:
  • Compositing Expertise: Utilize your advanced compositing skills to seamlessly integrate visual effects elements into live-action plates, creating photorealistic and visually stunning shots.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other artists, supervisors, and producers to understand and achieve the desired visual style and quality for each project.
  • Problem-Solving: Address creative and technical challenges by finding innovative and efficient compositing solutions, ensuring the highest level of quality in the final output.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior compositors, sharing knowledge and best practices to elevate the skills of the team.
  • Pipeline Optimization: Contribute to the development and improvement of compositing workflows and techniques, enhancing the efficiency and quality of the production pipeline.
  • Quality Control: Conduct thorough reviews of your own work and the work of your team to maintain consistency and meet project requirements and deadlines.
  • Client Interaction: Collaborate with clients and directors, understanding their vision and incorporating feedback into the compositing process.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in visual effects compositing for film, television, or related media.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard compositing software such as Nuke, After Effects, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of color theory, lighting, and perspective.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for realism and aesthetics.
  • Solid understanding of 3D compositing and CG integration.
  • Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines, managing multiple shots and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
  • Leadership skills and experience mentoring junior compositors is a plus.

Production Manager

We are seeking a talented and experienced Production Manager to join our VFX team. The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of VFX projects. This role requires excellent organizational skills, strong leadership, and the ability to collaborate effectively with artists, supervisors, and clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of artists and production staff, providing guidance, support, and resolving any issues that may arise during the production process.
  • Client Interaction: Collaborate closely with clients to understand their requirements, provide project updates, and address any concerns, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Quality Control: Oversee the quality of VFX work, conducting regular reviews and ensuring that the final output meets the highest industry standards.
  • Resource Management: Manage resources, including artists, equipment, and software, to optimize productivity and meet project demands.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective utilization of resources.
  • Production Workflow: Streamline and optimize production workflows, identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in production management, preferably in the VFX or animation industry.
  • Strong understanding of VFX production processes, techniques, and technologies.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Film, Animation, Business, or related field is a plus.

Senior/Mid Prep Artist

We are seeking a talented and experienced Paint/Prep Artist to join our VFX team. The Senior/Mid-Level Paint/Prep Artist will be responsible for removing unwanted elements from frames, cleaning up images, and preparing plates for the compositing process. This role requires attention to detail, creativity, and proficiency in industry-standard software.

Responsibilities:
  • Image Cleanup: Remove unwanted elements from frames using various techniques, ensuring clean and seamless plates for compositing.
  • Texture and Color Matching: Match textures, colors, and lighting to create cohesive and realistic images.
  • Detail Enhancement: Enhance and refine image details while preserving the overall quality and integrity of the shot.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with compositors and other artists to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality work.
  • Quality Control: Conduct thorough reviews of your work to maintain consistency and meet project requirements and deadlines.
  • Software Proficiency: Utilize industry-standard software such as Photoshop, Nuke, or similar tools for paint/prep tasks.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in paint/prep work for visual effects in film, television, or related media.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard paint/prep software such as Photoshop, Nuke, or similar tools.
